The Meaning Behind the Name
The Fallen Leaf is about more than a season.
A leaf does not fall because its story is over. It falls because change is part of its story.
To us, The Fallen Leaf represents the seasons we all experience in life – times of growth and abundance, but also times of loss, times of change and letting go. Sometimes we have to release what has passed, or what may be holding us back before there is room for something new to begin.
There is a quiet kind of freedom in that.
And just as a tree that loses its leaves is not finished, neither are we. Beneath what appears still or empty, new life is already preparing to emerge. Winter gives way to spring. What was released makes room for renewal, growth and eventually, rebirth.
That is why The Fallen Leaf was never meant to represent autumn alone.
It represents the changing seasons, both around us and within us. The beauty of letting go. The courage to begin again. And the reminder that every season – even the difficult ones – can lead us somewhere new and beautiful.
A Fallen Leaf is not simply an ending. Sometimes, it is the beginning of what comes next...
